By accessing or using Citizen Guide (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Unofficial Study Tool — No Guarantee
Citizen Guide is an unofficial, independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), or any other government body.
The content is based on the publicly available Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship guide, published under the Open Government Licence — Canada. We make no guarantee that the content is complete, current, or sufficient to pass the citizenship test. Always refer to the official guide as the authoritative source.
3. Not Legal or Immigration Advice
Nothing in this App constitutes legal advice, immigration advice, or a guarantee of citizenship test results. For legal or immigration questions, consult a qualified immigration lawyer or consultant.
4. User Accounts
You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its servers
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute App content for commercial purposes
- Impersonate any person or entity
6. Intellectual Property
Study content derived from the Discover Canadaguide is used under the Open Government Licence — Canada. The App's design, code, and original content are owned by the developers. YouTube videos are property of their respective owners and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The App embeds YouTube videos and links to external resources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites or services.
